Bob Moose was a right-handed pitcher who notably spent his entire ten-year MLB career (1967-1976) with the Pittsburgh Pirates. A product of Western Pennsylvania, Moose was a versatile arm for the team, working as both a starter and a reliever. His most celebrated achievement came on September 20, 1969, when he pitched a no-hitter against the eventual World Series champion New York Mets. He was also a key member of the Pirates' successful teams in the early 1970s, winning five NL East titles and earning a World Series ring in 1971, where he made four appearances.
