2000 Travis Knight NBA Basketball Card No 138 in Excellent Mint condition, see photos. Travis Knight is a former NBA center best known for his role as a reliable post presence during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Standing 7'0", Knight enjoyed a standout collegiate career at the University of Connecticut, where he helped lead the Huskies to the 1996 Big East Championship and finished his tenure as one of the program’s top shot-blockers. Although he was selected 29th overall in the 1996 NBA Draft by the Chicago Bulls, he ultimately began his professional career with the Los Angeles Lakers, where he earned NBA All-Rookie Second Team honors in 1997. Over his seven-season career, Knight played for the Lakers, Boston Celtics, and New York Knicks, notably winning an NBA Championship with the Lakers in 2000. While often utilized as a bench contributor, he holds a unique place in league history for the "quickest disqualification" in a playoff game, having fouled out in just six minutes during a 1999 postseason match. After retiring from basketball in 2003, Knight transitioned into entrepreneurship, managing a successful fishing and charter business in Nicaragua.
