Billy Hatcher Baseball Card 1994 Upper Deck No. 461 - Near Mint Condition, See Photos. William "Billy" Hatcher is a former Major League Baseball outfielder best known for his incredible performance in the 1990 World Series. Throughout his career, which spanned from 1984 to 1995, Hatcher played for several teams, including the Chicago Cubs, Houston Astros, Pittsburgh Pirates, Cincinnati Reds, Boston Red Sox, Philadelphia Phillies, and Texas Rangers. While a solid player known for his speed and defense, his most memorable moments came during the 1990 postseason with the Cincinnati Reds. Hatcher set a World Series record by hitting .750 in the four-game sweep against the Oakland Athletics, collecting nine hits in twelve at-bats, including a record seven consecutive hits. After his playing days, Hatcher transitioned into a successful coaching career, serving as a first base, third base, and outfield coach for various MLB teams.
