A two-time All-Star and a key member of two World Series championship teams, left-handed pitcher Danny Jackson had a notable 15-season career in Major League Baseball from 1983 to 1997. He played for a variety of teams, including the Kansas City Royals, Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies, and St. Louis Cardinals. Jackson was instrumental in the Royals' 1985 World Series victory, and he also earned a championship ring with the Reds in 1990. His best season came in 1988 with Cincinnati, when he led the National League with 23 wins and finished as the runner-up for the Cy Young Award. Over his career, Jackson compiled a record of 112 wins and 131 losses, with a 4.01 earned run average and 1,225 strikeouts.
