Decanter 1964 World's Fair Jim Beam in Good Condition, Normal Wear See Photos - Measures 11 3/4" H x 7" W ... The 1964-1965 World's Fair Jim Beam decanter is a classic piece of mid-century Americana, produced by Regal China to commemorate the historic exposition in New York. The design prominently features the Unisphere, the iconic stainless steel globe that served as the fair's centerpiece, set against a smoky blue and grey clouded background. These "commemorative" bottles were part of Jim Beam’s strategy to market surplus aged bourbon as high-end keepsakes, often containing whiskey aged for 100 months (roughly 8 years). The decanter is prized not just for its connection to the fair’s "Peace Through Understanding" theme, but also for its sculptural quality, featuring hand-applied gold accents and a distinctive globe-topped stopper.
