Elton Brand NBA Basketball 2000 Fleer Card No 7 in Excellent condition, see photos. Elton Brand, the first overall pick in the 1999 NBA Draft, established himself as one of the most consistent and professional power forwards of his era. After a dominant collegiate career at Duke, Brand immediately made his mark in the league, sharing 2000 Rookie of the Year honors with Steve Francis after averaging a "20 and 10" double-double for the Chicago Bulls. He reached his athletic peak with the Los Angeles Clippers, where he became a two-time All-Star and earned an All-NBA Second Team selection in 2006, leading the franchise to a rare second-round playoff appearance. Though a major Achilles injury in 2007 eventually robbed him of some explosiveness, Brand adapted his game, evolving into a highly respected veteran mentor for the Philadelphia 76ers, Dallas Mavericks, and Atlanta Hawks. He retired in 2016 with career averages of 15.9 points and 8.5 rebounds per game, eventually transitioning his high basketball IQ into a front-office role as the General Manager of the 76ers.
