Hubie Brooks Signed Autograph Baseball Card 2013 Topps No. FFA-HB  in Excellent Condition, See Photos.  Hubie Brooks was a highly versatile and productive infielder and outfielder who played 15 seasons in Major League Baseball from 1980 to 1994. Selected third overall in the 1978 MLB Draft by the New York Mets, Brooks quickly established himself as a fan favorite, notably setting a then-franchise record with a 24-game hitting streak in 1984. His career reached its peak after a trade to the Montreal Expos, where he transitioned to shortstop and earned back-to-back Silver Slugger Awards in 1985 and 1986. A two-time All-Star, Brooks was a consistent offensive threat, recording a career-high 100 RBIs in 1985 and twice hitting 20 home runs in a season. Over his 15-year tenure—which included stints with the Dodgers, Angels, and Royals—he maintained a .269 career batting average with 149 home runs and 824 RBIs, finishing his career as one of the most respected "professional hitters" of his era.
