Jerry Reuss was a left-handed pitcher who enjoyed a long and successful career in Major League Baseball, spanning from 1969 to 1990. He's best known for his time with the Los Angeles Dodgers (1979-1987), where he helped them win the 1981 World Series. Over his 22 seasons, Reuss played for eight different teams, including the St. Louis Cardinals, Houston Astros, and Pittsburgh Pirates. A two-time All-Star, Reuss won 220 games and even pitched a no-hitter in 1980. Known for his durability and crafty pitching style, Reuss was a reliable starter for much of his career and is remembered as a fan favorite, particularly in Los Angeles.
