Kevin Brown was a dominant and intense right-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball for 19 seasons, from 1986 to 2005. Known for his sinking fastball and fierce competitiveness, Brown was a key player for several teams, including the Texas Rangers, Florida Marlins, San Diego Padres, and Los Angeles Dodgers. A six-time All-Star, he was one of the premier pitchers of his era. His career highlights include leading the American League in wins in 1992 and twice leading the National League in ERA. In 1997, he was instrumental in the Florida Marlins' World Series championship and pitched a no-hitter during the same season. The following year, with the Padres, he helped lead the team to the World Series. In 1998, Brown signed a landmark seven-year, $105 million contract with the Dodgers, the largest in baseball history at the time. He concluded his career with 211 wins, a 3.28 ERA, and 2,397 strikeouts.
