Marcus Camby NBA Basketball Card 2000 Fleer No 79 in Excellent Mint condition, see photos. Marcus Camby, the second overall pick in the legendary 1996 NBA Draft, solidified his legacy as one of the most elite rim protectors and rebounders in basketball history. Following a stellar collegiate career at UMass where he was the unanimous National Player of the Year, Camby transitioned his shot-blocking prowess to the professional level, leading the NBA in blocks four times (1998, 2006, 2007, and 2008). His defensive dominance peaked during the 2006–07 season with the Denver Nuggets, where he was named the NBA Defensive Player of the Year. Over a 17-season career that included significant tenures with the Toronto Raptors, New York Knicks, and Nuggets, Camby earned four All-Defensive Team selections and retired ranking 12th on the NBA’s all-time blocks list. Known for his incredible timing and "thin man" athleticism, he finished his career with impressive averages of 9.5 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks per game.
