Pete Vuckovich was a formidable and intense right-handed pitcher best known for his successful tenure with the Milwaukee Brewers in the early 1980s. A key member of the hard-hitting "Harvey's Wallbangers" team, Vuckovich's tenacity and intimidating presence on the mound were hallmarks of his style. His career peaked in 1982 when he won the American League Cy Young Award, posting a 18-6 record and helping lead the Brewers to their only World Series appearance.
