Ruben Sierra, nicknamed "El Indio" or "El Caballo," was a dynamic switch-hitting outfielder who played in Major League Baseball for 20 seasons, showcasing a blend of power and speed. Debuting with the Texas Rangers in 1986, Sierra quickly established himself as a potent offensive force, highlighted by his phenomenal 1989 season where he led the American League in RBIs, triples, slugging percentage, and total bases, earning an All-Star selection and Silver Slugger Award. A four-time All-Star, Sierra also played for the Athletics, Yankees, Tigers, Reds, Blue Jays, White Sox, and Mariners, amassing 306 career home runs and 1322 RBIs.
