Shawn Kemp NBA Basketball Cleveland Cavs Card 2000 Fleer No 144 - Near Mint condition, see photos -  Shawn Kemp, famously nicknamed "The Reign Man," was one of the most explosive and athletic power forwards in NBA history. Drafted 17th overall by the Seattle SuperSonics in 1989 directly out of high school (via a brief stint at Trinity Valley Community College), he became the youngest player in the league at age 19. Kemp is best remembered for his high-flying, ferocious dunks and his dynamic partnership with point guard Gary Payton, which led the SuperSonics to a franchise-record 64 wins and an NBA Finals appearance in 1996. During that legendary series against Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls, Kemp was dominant, averaging 23.3 points and 10.0 rebounds per game.

Throughout his 14-year career (1989–2003), Kemp also played for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Portland Trail Blazers, and Orlando Magic. A six-time All-Star and three-time All-NBA Second Team selection, he finished his career with 15,347 points and 8,834 rebounds, maintaining career averages of 14.6 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. Beyond his dunks, he was respected for his defensive presence and a surprisingly effective mid-range game. Internationally, he represented the United States, winning a gold medal at the 1994 FIBA World Championship.
