1912 Barber Dime Silver Coin Rare 90% Silver - Fine condition, see photos. The 1912 Barber Dime is a classic example of early 20th-century American silver, minted during the twilight of the "Barber" era. Designed by Charles E. Barber, the obverse features a stoic, classical depiction of Lady Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap and a laurel wreath, while the reverse showcases a lush agricultural wreath of corn, wheat, maple, and oak. Struck in 90% fine silver at the Philadelphia Mint with a mintage of approximately 18.8 million, this coin was a staple of daily commerce during the Taft administration. While the 1912 is widely available in circulated grades, it is highly prized by collectors in Extremely Fine or better condition, where the intricate details of the "LIBERTY" headband and the individual leaves in the wreath remain crisp. As a "common date" with high historical appeal, it serves as an excellent entry point for those beginning a silver type set or a complete Barber series.
