$80.00

1958 Zenith Navigator Radio Royal 760 - Fair to Good Condition, Untested visible wear leather back and bottom coming off, and one knob on front need attachment. Battery pack is in the unit, but no cord. Working parts are in the photos.

Own a piece of mid-century technical innovation with this 1958 Zenith Navigator (Royal 760). As the very first model in Zenith's celebrated "Navigator" series, the Royal 760 was marketed to yachtsmen and aviators as a reliable direction finder, featuring a unique Longwave beacon band (200400 kHz) alongside standard AM. Built like a battleship with a heavy metal chassis and eight plug-in transistors, this "lunchbox" style radio represents the "Royalty of Radios" era before the shift to lighter printed circuit

In Fair to Good condition, this unit shows honest character from years of travel. The genuine top-grain cowhide leather case remains intact but displays typical scuffing and wear on the edges, consistent with its age. The iconic "automobile-style" chrome grille retains its vintage shine with only minor pitting. While the unit may require internal servicing—such as replacing aged electrolytic capacitors—to return to its full 450-milliwatt sonic glory, it remains a highly sought-after display piece for any serious radio enthusiast or collector of 1950s Americana.
