Mac Jones, currently a quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers, entered the NFL with high expectations after a stellar college career at the University of Alabama. During his time with the Crimson Tide (2017-2020), Jones showcased impressive accuracy and decision-making, culminating in a dominant 2020 season where he set NCAA records for passer rating (203.1) and completion percentage (77.4%), leading Alabama to a National Championship victory. He was recognized as a consensus All-American and won several prestigious awards, including the Davey O'Brien and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Awards. Drafted 15th overall by the New England Patriots in the 2021 NFL Draft, Jones had a promising rookie season, earning Pro Bowl honors and leading the team to a playoff berth. However, his subsequent seasons with the Patriots saw a decline in team success and offensive production.
