Dante Bichette was a powerful right-handed hitting outfielder who played 14 seasons in Major League Baseball from 1988 to 2001. A four-time All-Star, Bichette was a key member of the Colorado Rockies' "Blake Street Bombers" in the mid-1990s, a lineup known for its prolific home run hitting. His best season came in 1995 when he led the National League in home runs (40), runs batted in (128), and hits (197), finishing second in the MVP voting. Over his career, which also included stints with the California Angels, Milwaukee Brewers, Cincinnati Reds, and Boston Red Sox, he compiled a .299 batting average with 274 home runs and 1,141 RBIs. Known for his aggressive approach at the plate, Bichette was a feared hitter who consistently produced runs throughout his time in the major leagues.
